Ever wondered what it'd be like to grab a bite at Burger Shot without booting up GTA? Well, Miami is about to make that a reality.
Ahead of GTA 6's November 19 launch, Rockstar Games has turned the burger restaurant inside the Kaseya Center—home of the Miami Heat—into a real-life Burger Shot. Fans first spotted the rebrand on X, sharing images of the venue's new look. The space now sports Burger Shot branding along with Macca & Friends and Vice City posters, all part of the #GTAVI marketing push.
Now, before you get too excited about ordering a "Heartstopper" in real life—the infamous in-game burger stacked with seven patties—it's probably not happening. The report notes it's unclear if the menu will be themed after the game, and honestly, it's hard to imagine. In GTA, Burger Shot is a parody of fast-food giants like McDonald's and Burger King, poking fun at their ridiculously unhealthy offerings. So don't expect a real-life Heartstopper challenge anytime soon.
This is just one piece of Rockstar's elaborate Miami takeover. The company has been going all out to promote GTA 6, including a massive $975,000 neon sign atop the Kaseya Center that reads "Welcome to Vice City." There are also rumors that Rockstar plans to sell some of GTA 6's in-game beer brands at bars around Miami—though it's unclear if fans outside Florida will be able to get their hands on them.
And the Heat are getting in on the action too. On November 18, the team will transform into the "Vice City Heat" for one regular-season game, complete with new jerseys and a GTA 6-themed court. It's an unprecedented crossover that blurs the line between virtual and real-world sports.
If that wasn't enough, flashy GTA-branded sports cars have been spotted cruising around Miami with camera crews in tow, suggesting some kind of live-action advertising is in the works. Rockstar is clearly pulling out all the stops as launch day approaches.
We're now less than a month away from GTA 6's release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version rumored for early next year. So, what do you think—will you be making a pilgrimage to the Kaseya Center for a taste of Burger Shot, or are you just counting down the days until you can play the game? Let us know!
