Ever wish you could preview a game's radio before you even get behind the wheel? Rockstar just made that possible for GTA 6.
On October 8, Rockstar Games dropped three brand-new GTA 6 screenshots and pulled back the curtain on the Leonida airwaves, letting players stream six of the game's radio stations right now through the official website. According to the studio, this is the biggest and most genre-spanning in-game radio lineup the series has ever assembled — and yes, that includes Podcasts for the first time in Grand Theft Auto history.
The six stations up for a listen cover serious ground. Cocoteo FM brings modern Latin sounds hosted by El Martillo and La Gata, spanning Bachata, Merengue, Dembow, and Reggaeton. Back Country Radio serves rebellious country for fanboat drivers, hosted by MW and Delta Dawne, with swamp weather reports and appearances from characters like Mud Dog Mike. AfroBank FM, hosted by Burna and Palmsy, hits hard with African rhythms from 20th-century classics to South African genres like Amapiano and 3-Step.
Then there's The Chamber 106.6, keeping 1980s heavy metal alive with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. Flash FM, hosted by Robyn and Alex, delivers the best pop and dance-ready Vice City energy. And Dirty South Classics, led by Trick and Trina, focuses on Southern rap and hip-hop classics from the beach to the block, spotlighting both Leonida and the wider American South.
Beyond the traditional car radio, GTA 6 lets you keep listening on foot. Players controlling Jason and Lucia can tune in through vehicles, or use new headphones and earbuds synced to the in-game smartphone to keep the stations and Podcasts going while walking. It's a small touch, but it makes the world feel that much more alive.
VICE has rounded up the revealed host and artist lineup, which includes Bad Bunny, Burna Boy, Lana Del Rey (with her husband Jeremy Dufrene), Trick Daddy, Trina, RaiNao, Robyn, and Morgan Wallen. The three new screenshots show a highway, a nighttime scene, and a neon-lit street district — giving us another peek at Leonida before the November 19 launch.
If the music alone has you hyped, the official soundtrack Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is already available for pre-save, packing 34 original tracks. You can also pre-order vinyl and CD versions if physical media is your thing.
With this much variety — from Latin and country to metal, pop, and Southern rap — there's a station for basically every mood. What do you think of the lineup so far? Will you be tuning in early, or waiting until you're actually cruising through Leonida?
