Minecraft Dungeons 2 Codes: How to Redeem and What You Can Get

Got a Minecraft Dungeons 2 code burning a hole in your pocket? You're not alone. With the game's launch, there are several capes and rewards up for grabs, but only one of them actually requires a code. The rest? They unlock automatically once you meet certain requirements. So if you're scratching your head wondering why your code isn't working or where to even enter it, we've got you covered.

First, let's talk about the rewards. There are four capes in total: the Twisted Cape, Corrupted Creeper Cape, Hero Cape, and Soul Cape. The Twisted Cape was a pre-order bonus, so if you didn't pre-order Dungeons 2, you're out of luck—though if you did, you can still redeem it. The Corrupted Creeper Cape is the only one that comes as an actual code. You could get it from Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show, Twitch drops, or TikTok watch rewards. Those promotions have ended, but if you managed to snag a code, you can still redeem it in-game. The Hero Cape is for veterans: just log into Dungeons 2 with the same Minecraft account you used in Dungeons 1 before December 31, 2026. And the Soul Cape? That's for anyone who buys the Deluxe Edition.

Now, here's where it gets a little confusing. Unlike the vanilla Minecraft game, where you redeem codes on a website, Dungeons 2 has an in-game redemption box. To find it, head into the settings menu from in-game, then scroll to the bottom of the General settings. You'll see a field where you can enter your unique code. Type it in, hit enter (or the controller equivalent), and boom—your rewards are granted. Just remember, only the Corrupted Creeper Cape uses a code. The others are automatic.

One important heads-up: there's another reward called the Aurora Cape, but it's not for Dungeons 2. Even though you earn it by watching Dungeons 2 content, you can only claim it in the vanilla Minecraft game. If you try to enter that code in Dungeons 2, it won't work. So don't mix them up!
