Have you been putting off playing GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation Plus? Well, you might want to clear your schedule because these Rockstar epics are about to ride off into the sunset. On November 17, a bunch of games are being pulled from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog, and these two open-world giants are leading the charge.
Don't panic—you're not losing anything you own. These are games included with your subscription, like Sony's version of Game Pass. But if you've been meaning to dive into the mean streets of Los Santos or the wild west, now's your last chance. Once they're gone, they're gone—unless you buy them outright.
So, what else is leaving? Here's the full list: Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4), Football Manager 26 (PS5), GTA 5 (PS4, PS5), The Talos Principle 2 (PS5), Cricket 24 (PS4, PS5), Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS4, PS5), Hotshot Racing (PS4), Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (PS4), Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair (PS4), Rapala Fishing Pro Series (PS4), and Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (PS4).
Interesting timing, right? GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 are being removed just two days before GTA 6 launches. If you're hyped for Rockstar's next big thing, this is the perfect excuse to revisit these classics and get yourself in the mood. And if you're not into open-world crime sagas, The Talos Principle 2 is a fantastic first-person puzzler that's absolutely worth your time before it leaves.
Just remember: after November 17, these games will be unplayable even if you've already downloaded them—unless you purchase them. So don't wait until the last minute! The good news is that PlayStation recently added some other great titles to the service, like Mafia: The Old Country and Horizon Forbidden West, so there's still plenty to play.
Will you be rushing to finish any of these before they disappear? Let us know in the comments!
