Control Resonant: New Game++ and Photo Mode Dates Revealed

Finished Control Resonant already and not sure what to do next? Remedy has your back. The studio just laid out its first post-launch updates for the game, and there's a reason to keep exploring altered Manhattan.

First up: New Game++ lands in October. If you've already wrapped the main story, you can jump back in and mop up anything you skipped the first time around. That includes unfinished or previously missed side quests and World Feats, so your completionist instincts have plenty to chew on.

Here's the wrinkle. Control Resonant already has a New Game+ option, but the current version is a bit limited in what it allows. The October update is the one that pushes things further, giving returning players a proper reason to replay rather than just re-tread old ground.

Then, in November, Photo Mode arrives. Remedy hasn't shared the finer details yet, but for a game built around strange, striking environments, a dedicated way to snap your favorite moments makes a lot of sense. Expect plenty of screenshots hitting social feeds once it drops.

So the roadmap looks like this: October for the New Game++ crowd, November for the virtual photographers. Two separate reasons to come back to the game, spaced just far enough apart to keep it in your rotation.
