Got an Xbox Game Pass subscription? You're in for a treat this September and October. Microsoft just dropped its second official roundup of games for September 2026 (and the first two of October), and there are 15 titles joining various tiers of the service from September 15 to October 6.
The headliners? Gears of War: E-Day, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and Dune: Awakening are all part of the lineup. If you're a Premium member, you're especially in luck, because a lot of these games are already available on Ultimate and PC tiers, but they're now making their way to Premium as well.
That means if you've been holding out on upgrading to Ultimate, you might not need to. Several of the announced titles are simply being added to Premium, so you can enjoy them without switching tiers. It's a nice win for Premium subscribers who might have felt left out before.
Of course, if you're on Ultimate or PC, you've likely already had access to some of these games. But that doesn't make the batch any less exciting. It's a solid mix of big-name franchises and anticipated releases, ensuring there's something for everyone.
So what should you play first? If you're into gritty shooters, Gears of War: E-Day is a no-brainer. If you prefer dungeon-crawling action, Minecraft Dungeons 2 has you covered. And if you're looking for something more survival-oriented, Dune: Awakening might be your jam.
Remember, these games are rolling out between September 15 and October 6, so keep an eye on your Game Pass library. Some might be available right away, while others will drop later in the window.
