Discovery name-dropped "the second installment of Hogwarts Legacy" as one of the projects it believes can help boost its gaming business going forward.

That's a big deal. Up until now, a follow-up felt like a safe bet — the original was one of the best-selling games of 2023 worldwide — but it was never actually confirmed. Now it is, even if the mention was just a single line.

And that one line is pretty much all we've got. No official title, no release window, no platforms, no story details, and no word on which studio is handling development. Still, it's the most concrete public acknowledgment of the sequel Warner Bros. has given us so far.
