The hype around Metroid Ravenous has exploded into a meme frenzy after Pixelframe Design dropped a tool that lets you type any text and see it in the game's grainy, jagged logo font. You can even pick from four background images. Pixelframe has done similar generators for GTA 6, The Duskbloods, and Pokopia, but this one might be their most chaotic yet.

If you've been on Reddit or Bluesky lately, you've probably seen Samus Aran aggressively pinning down a mysterious enemy, ready to chow down, with text like "I ASKED FOR NO PICKLES" slapped on top. The game's hook—Samus must kill and consume enemies to survive—has naturally led to food-themed jokes. We've got riffs on the "55 burgers" scene from I Think You Should Leave, references to "girl dinner," and the classic "Om Nom Nom." Seriously, any phrase looks ten times more badass in this font.

Metroid Ravenous was revealed during the September 2026 Nintendo Direct as a follow-up to 2021's Metroid Dread, returning to the franchise's 2D roots. The game launches on January 28, 2027, and a special edition with a steelbook and Amiibo figure is also on the way.
