KRAFTON Hits Record $2.4B Revenue in 2025 as PUBG IP Soars

KRAFTON's 2025 revenue topped 3.32 trillion KRW for the first time, driven by PUBG growth, inZOI's 1M sales, and a massive surge in other businesses.

KRAFTON just posted its biggest year ever. The South Korean publisher announced its 2025 full-year and Q4 earnings, and the headline number is hard to ignore: 3.3266 trillion KRW in annual revenue — the first time the company has ever broken the 3 trillion mark since it was founded.

That's up 616.8 billion KRW year-over-year, a 22.8% jump. Operating profit also cleared 1 trillion KRW again, landing at 1.0544 trillion KRW. Not a bad year at the office, huh?

Breaking it down by platform, mobile did the heavy lifting with 1.7407 trillion KRW, followed by PC at 1.1846 trillion KRW, consoles at 42.8 billion KRW, and other businesses at 358.5 billion KRW. The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS IP on PC grew 16% year-over-year, setting an all-time annual revenue record for that segment. A big part of that came from some wild crossovers — including a November 2025 team-up with Porsche that became the best-performing supercar collaboration in PUBG history. Not too shabby for a battle royale that keeps finding new ways to stay relevant.

PC also got a boost from inZOI, which launched in March 2025, and the October release of a new title — both of which sold over 1 million copies each. That momentum pushed Q4 PC revenue to 287.4 billion KRW, up about 24% year-over-year.

On mobile, PUBG MOBILE kept its core audience engaged with themed modes and World of Wonder UGC updates, while cross-platform synergy with PC and console strengthened the whole PUBG ecosystem. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) held its ground as the country's go-to game, thanks to India-exclusive skins, premium items, and smart local brand partnerships. Paying users for PUBG MOBILE and BGMI grew 5% and 27% respectively compared to 2024.

The "other" category absolutely exploded, jumping 963% year-over-year thanks to strong performances from ADK Group and Neptune. Meanwhile, Q4 revenue hit 919.7 billion KRW, though operating profit for the quarter was just 2.4 billion KRW — that's because KRAFTON booked a one-time 81.6 billion KRW labor welfare fund expense tied to its new Seoul headquarters in Seongsu, covering the next four years.

Looking ahead, KRAFTON says it'll keep leaning on its core game business while expanding IPs with long product life cycles and pushing AI-driven innovation. The PUBG IP is expected to maintain double-digit growth, with PC and console getting more global IP collaborations that go beyond just gaming. The company is also accelerating PUBG's evolution into a "PUBG 2.0" platform with Unreal Engine 5 upgrades, new modes, and UGC updates.

Upcoming projects include the extraction shooter Black Budget, the top-down tactical shooter PUBG: BLINDSPOT, and the console battle royale Valor. KRAFTON is also betting big on inZOI, Last Epoch, and the new hunting title as future franchise IPs. Plus, 15 new projects are already in the works under a "small and fast" development model, with Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, Dinkum Together, and NO LAW all in preparation.

What do you think — can KRAFTON keep this momentum going, or is a slowdown inevitable? Let us know in the comments.
