Did you know that 007 First Light just hit a massive milestone? The game has now passed 7 million wishlists on Steam, and to celebrate, IO Interactive has added a very good boy to the game: Jack the bulldog.

Jack isn't just any dog. He's a statue model that first appeared in the 2012 James Bond film Skyfall, sitting on M's desk. The statue survived the office explosion, though its face got cracked and the Union Jack flag was charred. Jack went on to appear in Spectre and No Time To Die. Now, he's alive and in First Light.

According to IO, Jack should be a "warm, loyal presence" for players between missions. And yes, you can pet the dog. "Gruff on the outside but endlessly good-natured, Jack has quickly become something of a fixture around MI6, with Bond himself growing rather fond of him between assignments," IO said.

But that's not all. The free Extended Operations DLC is out now, bringing New Game+, a new 00 difficulty mode, and a Photo Mode. The update also adds more TacSim content, including a new mission set in Vietnam.

If you haven't picked up the game yet, now's a great time. 007 First Light is currently 30% off on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, bringing it down to $49. A Switch 2 version is coming in March 2027. And a sequel? Sounds like a matter of when, not if, but it remains to be confirmed.

This all coincides with James Bond Day on October 5, which commemorates the anniversary of the first movie Dr. No's release on October 5, 1962. To celebrate, all the James Bond movies were just added to Prime Video.
