You know how Sony has been slowly bringing its biggest exclusives to PC? Well, the first three Uncharted games just got a whole lot more accessible—thanks to a fan-made unofficial port. The modder behind it, SuperMedo, previously worked on an unofficial PC port of Bloodborne, so they're no stranger to ambitious projects.

The port covers Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which bundles Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. While Sony brought Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to PC back in 2022, the original trilogy has remained stranded on consoles—until now.

Technically, this isn't a traditional native port. The game's original x86-64 instructions run directly on your PC's processor, while the GPU side uses a shadPS4-based renderer to translate graphics commands into Vulkan. It's a clever workaround that gets the job done.

All three games offer 60fps and 120fps modes, with higher frame rates still in development. On the visual side, you've got support for DLAA, FSR 3.1/4, and DLSS with FSR frame generation. If you're rocking an RTX 50-series card, you can even use multi-frame generation. Keyboard and mouse are supported, and you can remap controls for both that and gamepads.

According to tests by Stargames Benchmarks, a Ryzen 5 7500F paired with an RTX 4070 SUPER can hit around 120fps at native 1440p across all three titles. One player even completed Drake's Fortune on an RTX 4060, getting mostly 100 to 120fps at 1080p with DLAA, dropping to around 80fps in larger scenes.

Of course, it's not perfect. Some players have reported occasional crashes, and one person ran into a corrupted save in Chapter 11. The latest version 0.3.6 has fixed some graphical glitches and a crash in Uncharted 2's train section. If you want to try it out, you'll need to supply your own decrypted PS4 game files—the project doesn't include any copyrighted content.

So, are you tempted to replay Nathan Drake's classic adventures on PC? Or will you wait for an official Sony release? Let us know in the comments!
