FF7 Revelation Director Warns: 200GB Install Size for Final Chapter

Director Naoki Hamaguchi has warned that Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, the final chapter of the remake trilogy, will require around 200GB of storage when it launches next year.

That's a massive chunk of your console or PC's hard drive. For context, that's roughly the size of several full-sized games combined. If you're still rocking a standard 500GB console, you'll be using nearly half your available space for just this one game.

Hamaguchi shared the warning directly, and it's not exactly surprising given the scope of the project. The remake trilogy has been expanding the world of Midgar and beyond with stunning visuals and detailed environments, and all that data adds up. The final chapter is expected to be the biggest yet.
