GTA 6 Fans 3D Print $400 Collector's Box Gator Instead

Ever wanted a bright pink alligator in a blue shirt holding a blunt and a martini? Well, now you can have one—without dropping $400 on the GTA 6 Collector's Box.

Rockstar's collector's edition for GTA 6 has been a hot topic, but not exactly for the right reasons. The $400 box doesn't include the game itself, which rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way. Even scalpers had trouble flipping it at first, with the box staying in stock for a while. But eventually, it sold out anyway. Classic.

One of the main attractions in that box is a figurine of Macca the Gator, a mascot from an in-game TV show. He's a bright pink alligator wearing a blue shirt, holding a blunt and a martini. Yeah, he's ugly—probably intentionally so, like Rockstar is poking fun at tacky mascot characters. But ugly or not, some people really want that gator.

Instead of paying $400 or dealing with scalpers, some fans are taking matters into their own hands. As highlighted by Twitter user Top5Gamingx, someone has already recreated Macca as a 3D model that anyone can download and print at home for free. Of course, you'll need a 3D printer, filament, and maybe some paint if you want to match the original's garish colors. But hey, it's the thought that counts!

So if you've got the equipment and a high tolerance for ugly decor, you can now have your very own Macca the Gator without shelling out for the collector's box. It's a pretty creative workaround, and it shows just how dedicated the GTA community can be.

Meanwhile, Rockstar is still keeping tight lips about GTA 6. The studio reportedly reminded the voice cast that they're still under NDA after actor Stephen Root let slip that he's in the game. So while we wait for more official news, at least we can print our own gator buddies.
