Xbox Game Pass Losing 8 Games This Month

Did you just get attached to a game on Xbox Game Pass? Better check the removal list. Microsoft has confirmed that eight more titles are leaving the service on September 30, and if you've been sleeping on any of them, your window is closing fast.

The departing games are Atomfall, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, Little Rocket Lab, Sifu, SOPA Tale of the Stolen Potato, Sworn, and Terminull Brigade. All of them are playable on Cloud, Console, and PC, so no matter where you game, you'll lose access.

This is the second wave of removals this month. Earlier in September, Microsoft pulled 10 games, meaning a total of 18 titles are getting the boot before October rolls around. That's a hefty purge, even by Game Pass standards.

But it's not all bad news. Microsoft is loading up the service with some heavy hitters for late September and early October. Minecraft Dungeons II arrives day one on September 29, and Gears of War: E-Day hits on October 6. If you're a Call of Duty fan, 2024's Black Ops 6 joins the lineup on September 25.

So if you've been meaning to finish Sifu or finally try Atomfall, now's the time to squeeze in those last sessions. Once September 30 hits, they're gone from the catalog.
