Viral Indie Hits Arctic Eggs, Mouthwashing & No, I'm Not a Human Finally Hit Xbox

Ever found yourself wanting to cook eggs in the Arctic, survive a spaceship full of madness, or decide which apocalyptic strangers to shelter? You're in luck. Three viral indie darlings are finally coming to Xbox, courtesy of publisher Critical Reflex.

The news dropped during today's ID@Xbox showcase for October 2026. Arctic Eggs, Mouthwashing, and No, I'm Not a Human will all make their Xbox debut for the very first time. If you've been watching these games blow up on YouTube and wondering when you'd get to play them on your console, the wait is almost over.

First up, Arctic Eggs is available today, October 20, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S. From developer The Water Museum, this physics-based game tasks you with cooking eggs in the Arctic. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. The game's physics turn a simple chore into a true test of patience. And it's not just eggs—you'll pan-fry cockroaches, shot glasses, sausages, stingrays, and more, all to feed the city's hungry inhabitants and maybe earn an audience with the Saint of Six Stomachs. It's as weird and wonderful as it sounds.

Next, No, I'm Not a Human is an unsettling tale about a homeowner in an increasingly uninhabitable world. As days grow hotter, mysterious beings crawl out of the ground—beings that look and sometimes behave like humans. You must decide who to shelter and who to turn away. Pick real people and wait out the apocalypse together; pick impostors and risk your housemates' lives. It's coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass in 2027.

Then there's Mouthwashing, the cult indie horror game first released in September 2024. Set on a shipwrecked space freighter, you're responsible for managing the remaining crew as they slowly descend into madness and self-destruction. Mouthwashing arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass on October 29, 2026. IGN gave it a glowing 9 out of 10, with reviewer Ronny Barrier calling it "grimy, uncomfortable, and incredibly compelling, painting an unsettling picture of who we can be in our worst moments – and it doesn't let us get away with it."

Critical Reflex is known for publishing strange and interesting games that often go viral on YouTube, like Militsioner (where you escape a giant policeman) and Buckshot Roulette (Russian Roulette with a shotgun). The publisher will share more info on its YouTube channel later today.

So, which of these three are you most excited to try on Xbox? Will you be picking up Arctic Eggs today, or are you holding out for Mouthwashing's spooky vibes? Let us know in the comments!
