Bloodborne Fans: No Sequel, But an Umbrella?

Still holding out hope for a Bloodborne sequel or remaster? Yeah, we feel you. But while From Software and Sony keep us waiting, there's a new way to show your love for the hunt: an official Bloodborne umbrella. Because why not?

SuperGroupies, the fashion label known for gaming-inspired gear, has unveiled a full Bloodborne collection. It includes an umbrella, a necktie and tie clip set, a card holder, a laptop sleeve, and a book cover. The standout piece is the "Childhood's Beginning" umbrella, which features Caryll Runes on the outside and a striking interior: the Moon Presence silhouetted against a red moon over a field of white flowers. It's the most pointless piece of clothing ever designed, but hey, it's also kind of perfect.

If you're feeling fancy, there's the Lady Maria-inspired necktie, with patterns that nod to the fan-favorite hunter, plus a tie clip modeled after the lumenflower brooch from her cravat. Round out your look with a book cover that reflects the Vileblood Register, a card holder embossed with Caryll Runes, and a laptop sleeve with a flap shape and studs that subtly reference the iconic Hunter Hat.

Preorders start on September 15, and these items are expected to ship out in mid-April 2027. Here's the full price breakdown: the Childhood's Beginning Model Umbrella is $126, the Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower Model Necktie & Tie Clip Set is $126, the Vileblood Register Model Book Cover is $96, the Hunter Model Card Holder is $136, and the Hunter Model Laptop Sleeve is $156. That's a lot of Yharnam love for your wallet.

While a Bloodborne remaster or sequel still looks unlikely for now—and could be for strategic reasons on Sony's part—fans do have something else to look forward to: an "R-rated" animated feature. YouTuber and gamer Seán McLoughlin, better known as JackSepticEye, is on board as a producer, and he says he's approaching the film as a passion project that faithfully replicates the cult-classic game. So at least there's that.

As for From Software, the developer has been busy throughout the 2020s with its Elden Ring series, expansions, and spin-offs. Its next release is a Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods, a PvPvE multiplayer action game that has no confirmed release date yet but is still expected to launch in 2026. So the studio is definitely not sitting still.
