MapleStory's September update brings a Frieren: Beyond Journey's End crossover, Spanish language support, and faster leveling. Here's what you need to know.

MapleStory September Patch: Frieren Collab, Spanish Support & Faster Leveling

Ready to grind some levels in MapleStory this September? The devs are coming in hot and pixely with a packed patch that's got something for pretty much everyone.

The headliner is a brand-new collaboration with Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, the Japanese manga and TV series that follows the journeys of an Elven mage. If you're a fan of the series, this one's worth logging in for.

The collab runs from now through October 7th, so you've got a solid window to jump in. During that time, you can progress through a new adventure journal to reap all kinds of rewards. It's the classic MapleStory event formula, but with a Frieren twist that should give fans of the series plenty to chase.

But the crossover isn't the only thing headed your way. The September patch also brings Spanish language support, which is a big deal for opening the game up to a wider audience. More players being able to enjoy MapleStory in their native language is never a bad thing.

On top of that, the update promises faster leveling. If you've been meaning to start a new character or push an alt up the ranks, this is a pretty good time to do it. Faster progression means less time grinding and more time actually enjoying the content.

So whether you're here for the Frieren crossover, the Spanish language support, or just want to level up quicker, this patch has you covered. The collab window closes on October 7th, so don't sleep on those adventure journal rewards.

What do you think of the Frieren collab? Will you be picking up the September patch and jumping back into MapleStory? Let us know in the comments!
