Dead by Daylight just dropped a crossover that's going to make a whole lot of you very happy. The game's official channels have released a trailer for its NieR: Automata collaboration, and yes, it's exactly as stylish as you'd hope.
First up, the star of the show: 2B. She's arriving as a Legendary outfit for survivor Feng Min. Once you equip it, your character's look transforms into the iconic android, and it doesn't stop at the visual overhaul. You also get a dedicated background music track, unique voice lines, a custom HUD icon, and even a special menu idle animation. Basically, it's a full 2B experience, not just a costume.
Next, A2 joins the fray as a Legendary outfit for Yui Kimura. Just like 2B, this is a complete makeover. You're getting exclusive sound effects, voice lines, interface tweaks, and animations that match her battle-hardened personality. If you main Yui, this is a pretty big glow-up.
And then there's Emil. The creepy little guy is coming to The Legion, and the trailer shows off his signature round smiley face and that unsettling grin. Visually, it's straight-up nightmare fuel, which honestly fits Dead by Daylight perfectly. Seeing Emil sprinting at you as a killer is going to be a whole new kind of terrifying.
For those keeping track, this isn't the first time NieR: Automata has popped up in other games. 2B and her crew have become something of a crossover staple, showing up everywhere from fighting games to mobile titles. But seeing them in a horror setting like Dead by Daylight feels like a natural fit, especially with Emil's eerie design leading the charge.
The crossover is available now on PC, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. So no matter what platform you're on, you can jump in and start styling on other survivors or scaring the daylights out of them.
So, which outfit are you grabbing first? Are you going full 2B, rocking A2's look, or are you here for the sheer terror of Emil? Let us know in the comments!
