ID@Xbox Showcase October 2026: Shrek 2, Wolf Among Us Remasters & More

Did you catch the ID@Xbox Showcase Presented by IGN? If not, you missed a ton of announcements, from remasters of beloved classics to delightfully weird indies. But don't worry—we've rounded up all the big news so you're up to speed.

Let's start with the headliners. Shrek 2 Remastered is bringing everyone's favorite ogre back, letting you relive iconic moments and visit memorable locations from the film. It launches November 10, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S with new graphics and features. Meanwhile, The Wolf Among Us Remastered arrives October 29, 2026, packing enhanced visuals, upgraded animation and audio, an all-new Noir Mode, behind-the-scenes content, playable deleted scenes, and a redesigned werewolf form for Bigby. And Zero Parades: Director's Cut, the espionage RPG from ZA/UM, hits Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 3, 2026.

Looking further ahead, Magenta Down is a sci-fi atmospheric adventure set on a harsh, remote exoplanet where you'll deal with injury and radiation with scarce supplies. It's coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2027. If you prefer something more whimsical, Croak is a hand-drawn 2D precision platformer where you tongue-grapple and pinball-bounce as a frog prince on a quest to reach the Witch's Banquet. It launches March 2027 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. And Mr. Records, starring an old dreamer named George who can transcend through music, arrives Spring 2027.

Chronoscript: The Endless End showed off bosses and gameplay, blending a 3D grand residence with 2D pen-and-ink worlds. It's due early summer 2027 on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and also PS5. Love Is A Roguelite (LIAR) mixes turn-based tactics, deck-building, and dating in a procedurally generated Love Story, with a LoveSync system that makes your choices matter. It's set for Fall 2027. Drill Keeper is a deck-building roguelike siege defense game where you protect mining operations and design traps; it hits PC Game Pass in summer 2027. Mr. Magpie's Harmless Card Game, a sinister roguelike deckbuilder, launches early 2027 on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Waveling Island, a cozy creature-collector with hand-drawn pixel art, is headed to Xbox Series X/S and PC soon.

If you're looking for co-op fun, A Game About Digging a Hole Together lets you and friends dig a hole at the beach, collect resources, sell them, upgrade equipment, and search for buried treasure. It's out December 4, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox on PC, with PC via Steam, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 later. Scramble Knights Online, an MMO-lite action RPG, launches October 26, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S and PC. And Paper Shredder is an incremental game where you shred paperwork to earn a $1,000,000 payout—shred, sweep, upgrade, and uncover what's hidden below. It arrives winter 2026 on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
