The brand added two new gamepad designs to its Rematch lineup, each priced at $49.88 (via Amazon). The blue and purple K.K. Slider controller shows the iconic musician strumming his guitar, but when you turn on the RGBs, a starry night sky twinkles above him. It's a neat touch that makes the controller stand out from typical Animal Crossing merch, which often sticks to green and earth tones. The other controller features Timmy & Tommy, and its faceplate reveals a pattern of trees and foliage when illuminated.
Turtle Beach also dropped two matching cases. The K.K. Slider PlayTrek Hard Shell Case glows in the dark, mirroring the controller's light show. It's a re-skin of the well-regarded PlayTrek Travel Case, so you can expect a robust build with a mesh pocket and space for up to 12 game cards. The Timmy & Tommy case is a simple copy-and-paste job—no glow, but still cute. The K.K. Slider case costs £19.99 in the UK, while the controller is £54.99.
Beyond the aesthetics, the Rematch controller packs solid features: TMR sticks, ergonomic grips, mappable back paddles, and a 40-hour battery life. With RGBs on, that drops to 12 hours, but you can always turn them off. USB-C charging keeps things convenient.
It's rare to see Switch 2 peripherals outside Japan that feel this special, but Turtle Beach has managed it. Whether you're a K.K. Slider fan or prefer the classic Tanuki duo, these accessories add a bit of island flair to your setup.
