Are you ready to take a massive trip down memory lane and dive straight back into classic adventures? If you have been keeping a close eye on the development of MapleStory Classic World, we have some seriously exciting news to share with you today. The testing phase has officially come to an end, and Nexon is now preparing to move the game directly into full live service.
That is right—the wait is almost over, and things are moving much faster than you might have expected. The MMO's chief product officer, Hanbyeol "Inkwell" Oh, has officially confirmed that the server is set to formally launch to the world on Wednesday, October 21st. After wrapping up the testing phase, players across the globe will finally be able to jump in and experience the server together on that date.
However, what if waiting until late October feels a little too far away for you? If you are eager to jump in as early as possible, Nexon has an early entry option ready to go. Alongside the upcoming launch, there will be a founder's pack on sale. If you decide to pick up one of these packs, the doors to MapleStory Classic World will open up for you more than two weeks early, giving founders access starting on October 6th.
It is definitely great news to see Nexon transition straight from testing into live service without getting stuck in limbo. Wrapping up testing and immediately locking in a live release schedule shows that the team is ready to open the gates permanently. You will not have to wonder about further testing phases or extended downtime, as the official rollout schedule is now fully locked in by Hanbyeol "Inkwell" Oh.
With early access kicking off on October 6th for founders and the full server launch arriving for everyone else on Wednesday, October 21st, this October is shaping up to be an awesome time for classic MMO fans. All that is left for you to do right now is get ready and decide just how early you want to step into the world.
What do you think about the launch schedule? Will you be picking up a founder's pack to play on October 6th, or will you be waiting until October 21st to jump in with everyone else? Let us know!
