GTA 6 Leak Shows Jason Fully Nude, Sparks Nudity Debate

Ever wondered what GTA 6's Jason looks like without his clothes? Well, a new leak has answered that question in, uh, explicit detail.

The anonymous leaker Cyberleek is back after a hiatus with a 25-minute video apparently from a GTA 6 development build. The clip has been making the rounds on Reddit's r/GamingLeaksAndRumours and social media. The most eye-catching part? Protagonist Jason spends much of the video completely naked, and his genitals are fully modelled, physics and all. This isn't the first time we've seen full frontal in a GTA 6 leak—Cyberleek previously showed fully nude NPCs—but it's certainly the most prominent.

Now, before you start planning your naked rampage through Vice City, temper your expectations. It's unknown if players will actually be able to run around in the buff in the retail game. Cyberleek likely has access to developer tools, and a floating tank spotted partway through the clip makes it clear that console commands are at play. Also, NPCs don't react to Jason's nudity at all, which suggests this isn't normal gameplay. Interestingly, the video also shows first-person driving, a feature GTA 6 was previously reported not to include.

We did see a naked Jason in an official preview, but thanks to carefully positioned camera angles, his modesty remained intact. So the jury's still out on whether GTA 6 will feature full frontal male nudity. It wouldn't be unprecedented—GTA 4's The Lost and Damned DLC included it. Co-protagonist Lucia also appears topless in the clip, facing away from the camera and wearing a thong. Whether that underwear was the leaker's choice or if GTA 6 unevenly enforces modesty is anyone's guess.

It's a bit surreal how not-a-big-deal this all feels now. Remember when Fox News hosts were scandalized by alien sideboob in Mass Effect? Or the infamous Hot Coffee mod? Things have changed, but have they really? We're not exactly in a golden age of chill—you can't throw a stone online without hitting some new outrage. Yet when Baldur's Gate 3 casually gave its characters detailed nude bodies, conservative critics barely blinked. Maybe games are just more mainstream now, with older audiences, so they can get away with what Hollywood does. As one observer put it, "Grand Theft Auto won."

Oh, and about Cyberleek: they're back to claiming they have a "project" underway and asking for funding. I'd recommend against contributing. Take-Two and Rockstar are still hunting for the culprit, but there's no new public progress on that front.

So, what do you think? Should GTA 6 embrace full nudity, or is this just a developer tool quirk? Will you be picking it up either way?
