Silent Hill Townfall: X-Ray Puzzle Solution Guide

Ever found yourself stuck in a Silent Hill Townfall puzzle, fiddling with dials and hoping for the best? The X-Ray puzzle is one of those head-scratchers that throws a lot of information at you at once. You need to take X-Rays of a patient's skull and chest, and to do that, you'll have to align the machine and set the correct kV, mA, and time values. It's a lot like the earlier blood pressure, pulse, and O2 puzzle—tons to remember while you're messing with equipment. But don't worry, we've got the short version to get you through quickly.

First things first: turn on the computer and move the image up to find the skull. You won't see the head because it's under a cloth, but you'll spot small white squares you can align with the camera image. When it says 'Patient Skull - Aligned', you're in the right spot. Now, switch on the X-Ray machine using the power switch on the control panel. But before you do anything else, check the X-Ray Dosage Table on the laptop in the other room. That table gives you the numbers you need.

For the skull X-Ray, set the dials on the control panel to: Site - Skull, kV - 3, Time - 1, mA - 7. Once everything's set, press the green X-Ray button to take the picture. That triggers the next stage: the chest X-Ray.

Now for the chest. Use the camera again to move the machine down and align its view with the lower set of white squares around the panel with the wire going in. Then, using the dosage table, set the dials to: Site - Chest, kV - 7, Time - 1.2, mA - 3. Get all the dials right, then hit the green button to take the shot. If you've done it correctly, you can collect hard copies of the pictures from a printer at the back of the room.

Take those copies and place them on the light box on the wall in the other room. That relays what they show to the doctor on the intercom.
