Xbox Game Pass Loses 8 Games on October 31

Are your favorite Game Pass games about to vanish? Xbox has confirmed that eight more titles are leaving the subscription service on October 31, and a few of them are genuine classics you won't want to miss.

First up, the LucasArts remasters. With Double Fine no longer part of the Xbox Game Studios family, both Full Throttle Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered are on their way out. If you've never tried these '90s point-and-click adventures, now's your window — each one comes with high-resolution artwork and remastered audio. They're short, sharp, and absolutely worth a weekend.

Then there's the co-op side of things. Deep Rock Galactic is the action-packed co-op shooter where you and your friends dig, blast, and fight your way through caves. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is another top-notch co-op pick, letting even more players join the intrepid archaeologist on her expeditions. And Wildgate mixes ship-to-ship combat with fast-paced PvPvE multiplayer action.

Strategy fans should look at Wartales, the strategic RPG that's quietly built a dedicated following. Dead Static Drive is the hidden gem of the bunch — best described as Grand Theft Cthulhu. And finally, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga covers all nine movies in the classic sci-fi series, and like a bucket of Lego, it can keep you entertained for hours.

Here's the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 31: Full Throttle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Wildgate, Deep Rock Galactic, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Wartales, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Note that the source list includes Full Throttle Remastered twice.

One helpful tip before you panic: you can save 20% on any of these games if you decide to buy them before they leave Game Pass. That's a solid deal if you want to keep playing after the exit date.

This follows a busy month for Game Pass. At the start of October, nine games left the service, with the critically acclaimed Expedition 33: Clair Obscur as the biggest departure. Other notable exits included The Casting of Frank Stone, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Donut County, and Evil West.

So, which of these are you planning to finish before October 31? Will you be picking any of them up at that 20% discount? Let us know in the comments!
