Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2 First Look Teases Night City Bloodbath

Did you think Night City was done with you? Think again. Netflix just dropped the first footage for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners season 2, and it looks like a bloodbath waiting to happen.

The brief clip shows our new crop of heroes—including a much older Weak Kingsley, voiced in the English dub by the legendary Clancy Brown—surrounded by enemies in what appears to be a job gone horribly wrong. If you remember how season 1 ended, you know these characters are probably living on borrowed time. It's ruthless out there.

Season 2 is set to hit Netflix on October 20. According to the official tagline, it "presents a new standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077... a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge. In a city that thrives in the spotlight of violence, one question remains: when the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?"

A previous trailer introduced us to some of the other new faces. There's D (voiced by Koki Uchiyama and Nazeeh Tarsha), who is out for revenge. And then there's Roman Carrax (voiced by Momoka Terasawa and Valeria Rodriguez), an aspiring filmmaker who sets out to document real stories in Night City. Sounds like a dangerous gig, even by Night City standards.

But let's be real: if you got attached to the season 1 cast, you learned your lesson the hard way. So maybe don't start picking favorites just yet. Rumors of a third season are already swirling, but CD Projekt Red hasn't confirmed anything yet.
