Pokemon Wind/Wave Leak: Full Map Reveals Southeast Asia and Australia

A full region map for Pokemon Wind/Wave just surfaced online, and it's way bigger than anyone expected.

The leak comes from aggregator account Centro Leaks on X, and it lines up with a version that popped up back in April. The region is built around Southeast Asia, pulling in vibes from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, all split across a bunch of numbered islands. So far, that matches what we'd heard before.

But here's the twist that got everyone talking: one corner of the map is clearly based on real-world Australia. According to the leaked images, that chunk covers Australia's Northern Territory, including Darwin, Kakadu National Park, Garig Gunak Barlu National Park, and the Tiwi Islands. Until now, most fans assumed the whole game would stay in Southeast Asia. Australia showing up means the region is much larger than expected, and it could open the door for more in DLC or future titles.

The map also spills a ton of details about locations and battle systems. Beyond the main story and Elite Four, it marks out plenty of points of interest, gyms, caves, labs, and both ocean and deep-sea areas. Earlier leaks mentioned diving would make a comeback, and the deep-sea zone, apparently called "Neon Abyss," looks like it hides a temple tied to the game's cover Legendary Pokemon.

Gym types are listed too: Grass, Poison, Flying, Fighting, Dark, Normal, Steel, and Fairy. The labs are tied to Fire, Ice, Ground, Rock, Psychic, and Ghost. As for the Elite Four, they're rocking Bug, Dragon, Water, and Electric.

Just remember, all of this is from leaked data, so things could still change before launch. Officially, we've only seen the three starters, and The Pokemon Company has confirmed Gen 10 will be set in a Southeast Asia-inspired region. Real details probably won't drop until the game actually releases.
