Skate's Curse of Morg Event Brings Fog and Demons to the City

What if your favorite skate parks suddenly disappeared into thick fog, with demonic sigils glowing through the haze? That's exactly what Skate is doing this Halloween with the Curse of Morg event, and it's a lot more ambitious than your typical seasonal update.

Here's the deal: instead of just tossing a few spooky cosmetics into the store and decorating certain skate parks for the season, the Curse of Morg is kicking off with a city-wide bout of fog and a whole lot of demonic presence. You know, the usual when the weather changes around this time of year.

That city-wide fog is the big talking point here. Rather than confining the Halloween vibes to a single themed area, the event spreads the eerie atmosphere across the entire map. If you're cruising around, expect the visibility to drop and the mood to get a whole lot creepier than a normal session.

And it's not just about fog. The demonic sigils scattered around the city suggest the Curse of Morg is a proper thematic takeover, not just a cosmetic drop. For players who've been hoping Skate leans into bigger seasonal events, this sounds like a step in that direction.

It's also a notable shift from the standard Halloween playbook. Plenty of games go the safe route with costumes and decorations, but wrapping the whole city in fog and demonic imagery gives the event its own identity. You're not just skating in a spooky park anymore — the whole world feels cursed.

So what does this mean for you? If you're planning to hop into Skate during the Halloween period, expect a different vibe from the usual sessions. The fog and sigils should make familiar spots feel strange again, which is exactly the kind of shake-up seasonal events are supposed to deliver.

We don't have the full event schedule or reward details yet, but the concept alone is enough to get us curious about how the Curse of Morg plays out in practice. Will the fog change how you approach lines and tricks, or is it mostly atmosphere? That's the big question.

What do you think of Skate going all-in on fog and demonic sigils for Halloween? Will you be picking this up and braving the curse?
