According to Deadline, Sweeney will play the lead, Katrina Van Tassel. She'll be joined by Belmont Cameli, known for his role in 'The Sex Lives of College Girls,' who's been cast as Brom Bones. 'Hollow' is a Sony Pictures production, based on an unpublished novel by Lindsay Anderson Biah. The book itself isn't hitting shelves until fall 2027, so the movie is definitely playing the long game. But the premise already sounds like a wild ride: it flips the traditional narrative, retelling the Sleepy Hollow legend from Katrina's perspective, blending gothic atmosphere, psychological mind games, and supernatural erotic thrills.
Biah is pulling double duty, writing the screenplay and directing the film. That's a strong sign the adaptation will stay true to her vision. Production is a family affair, with Lab Brew, LuckyChap, and Sweeney's own newly launched production company, Honey Trap, all involved.
