Xbox Game Pass Adds 12 Games in September, Including Day-One Releases

Ready for a bunch of new games on Xbox Game Pass? The second wave of September additions has been revealed, and there are 12 games coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass libraries. Plus, we got a sneak peek at early October. But hurry: a few games are leaving on September 30, so you have a few more weeks to check out gems like Atomfall and Sifu.

Several day-one games are launching this month. First up is Kernel Hearts on September 17, a magical action-RPG with roguelike elements and optional multiplayer co-op. Then on September 22, the dark fairy-tale metroidvania Well Dweller arrives. And on September 29, you can enter a new dimension with Minecraft Dungeons II.

Between those, there are legacy releases to enjoy. If you need pure action, Ninja Gaiden 4 is an easy recommendation. Marvel Cosmic Invasion joins Game Pass Premium this month if you want an old-school arcade brawler. Another notable release is Dune: Awakening, the open-world survival game that launches in full on PC and console on September 22. This version includes all the enhancements from its early-access journey, plus a full single-player mode.

Here's the full schedule: September 15 brings RuneScape: Dragonwilds (Cloud and PC). September 16 adds Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana II, Routine, and Ultimate Sheep Raccoon (all Cloud, console, handheld, and PC). September 17 sees Kernel Hearts and Ninja Gaiden 4. September 22 has Dune: Awakening and Well Dweller. September 23 adds Mad King Redemption. September 25 brings Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. September 29 delivers Minecraft Dungeons II. Then in October, Keeper arrives on October 2, and Gears of War: E-Day on October 6.
