Broken Ranks Finally Hits Android on October 21

Been waiting to take your grimdark adventures on the go? Good news, because Broken Ranks is finally making the jump to Android.

Whitemoon Games' turn-based MMORPG has locked in an October 21 release date for Android devices. That means the Polish-developed MMO — which has quietly kept chugging along without hogging headlines — is about to land in your pocket.

For the uninitiated, Broken Ranks is a grimdark turn-based MMORPG, and that combo is exactly what makes it stand out. It's not your typical tap-happy mobile MMO. The turn-based combat gives it a more tactical, deliberate feel, wrapped in a dark fantasy world that doesn't pull its punches.

Whitemoon Games might not be a household name, but there's something to be said for a studio that just keeps on truckin'. Broken Ranks has been steadily doing its thing, and now mobile players get to see what the fuss is about.

October 21 is the date to circle on your calendar. If you've been curious about the game but never wanted to be tied to a desktop, this is your chance to jump in from wherever you are.

So, will you be picking up Broken Ranks when it hits Android? Let us know in the comments!
