Control Resonant: Urban Survival Quest Walkthrough

Ever found yourself stuck in Control Resonant's Urban Survival quest, wandering the Evacuation Zone with no clue where to go? You're not alone. This quest has you chasing down a survivalist who's somehow still kicking despite all the extradimensional horrors lurking around. Let's break it down so you can get through it without pulling your hair out.

First things first: head to the Evacuation Zone and look for the Unauthorized Mines. Outside the Parking Lot entrance, you'll spot an "Investigation Order" collectible—grab it to kick off the quest. Then, follow the trail of mines through the Parking Lot and out back to the South. You'll eventually find the Survivalist's Bunker inside a warehouse. Use the intercom to chat with the Survivalist, and he'll ask you to track down Olivia and his granny.

Olivia? She's not a person—she's a potted plant! You'll find her in the back office of the Pulse Fitness Gym. Clear out the Hiss to get inside, then pick her up. Granny is a bit trickier: she's in an urn, located in the Northeast apartment building. Access it via the rooftop entrance, take the elevator down, and search the one accessible apartment.

Once you've got both Olivia and Granny, return to the Survivalist. Surprise! He now wants you to find his brother. First, you need to locate the Survivalist's Car—a large, boxy vehicle in the Far North Evac Zone, parked in front of a street blocked off by Mold. Grab the keys from it, then head into the apartment building and go upstairs. You'll find the brother, but he's been taken by the Hiss. Instead, take a picture of the two brothers and bring it back to the Survivalist to complete the quest.

As a reward, you'll get The Plate Carrier M1 outer layer outfit piece and the Untapped Heart Monitor Artifact, which gives you a one-time free respawn when you would have died. Plus, you'll unlock access to the Bunker, which contains a container of materials. Not bad, right?
