Remember when GTA 6 leaks seemed to be slowing down? Well, think again. The notorious leaker Cyberleek just dropped a 25-minute video of new gameplay footage and cutscenes, and the internet is losing its collective mind.
After staying quiet since August's wave of shorter clips, Cyberleek resurfaced with a mysterious poll on their website that had a deadline of October 8. Activity on the project's cryptocurrency wallet also picked up, hinting that something big was coming. And now, a new post on the Cyberleek subreddit has fans scrambling after one user spotted what appears to be a newly uploaded file. The original poster said they couldn't download it themselves, but that hasn't stopped others from trying.
According to comments in the Reddit thread, users are attempting to grab the 25-minute video. One commenter claims the footage includes "new gameplay footage and cutscenes," while another alleges that protagonist Jason can be seen running around completely naked. If that's true, it wouldn't be totally out of left field—earlier this week, it was confirmed that you can see Jason nude in the shower, that he and Lucia can explore the more intimate side of their relationship, and that there's even a nudist colony in the game.
The ZIP file is reportedly titled "Extended Leek," which is a clear riff on Rockstar's official GTA 6: An Extended Look. That trailer was roughly 26 minutes long and originally aired as a timed exclusive on Netflix. So Cyberleek is basically giving us a bootleg version of that, but with unreleased content.
This isn't the first time Cyberleek has caused headaches for Rockstar. The original batch of leaks in August showed everything from basketball and vehicle theft to Vice City locations and various NPC interactions. It got so bad that Rockstar eventually responded to the leaks. With GTA 6 now mere weeks away, though, there's not much longer to wait for the real thing.
Until then, Rockstar's official footage remains the safest way to get a look at the game without wandering into spoiler territory. But for those who can't resist, the temptation of a 25-minute leak is pretty hard to ignore.
What do you think—will you be hunting down this leak, or are you waiting for the official release? Let us know in the comments!
