WoW Forever's Skyborne Elves Take Flight in New Race Video

Have you been keeping up with the World of Warcraft Forever media blitz? If not, you might have missed the latest drop: a brand-new video focused on the Skyborne, the race everyone's been arguing about.

You've probably heard them called a few things by now. Blue Elves. Sky Smurfs. Draenei 2.0. Whatever nickname you prefer, the Skyborne have been both polarizing and intriguing since they were first shown off. And Blizzard? They know exactly what they're doing.

This week's video leans into the lore, highlighting how the Skyborne have a "deep lore" that stretches back to their origins as former High Elves who were exiled. That's right—these aren't just another pretty face in Azeroth. They come with a history, and Blizzard wants you to know it.

The media blitz itself is no accident. Blizzard is clearly aware that the Skyborne have sparked plenty of conversation, and they're not shying away from it. Instead, they're putting the race front and center, showing off what makes them tick and why they matter in the world of Forever.

Of course, calling them "not-at-all-controversial" is a bit of a wink. The community has been split on the Skyborne since day one, with some players loving the new direction and others still warming up to the idea. But love them or hate them, you can't deny they've got people talking.

So what's next for the Skyborne? We don't have all the details yet, but this video is just the latest piece of the puzzle. If you're curious about their abilities, their story, or just want to see them in action, it's worth a watch.

What do you think of the Skyborne so far? Are you ready to soar on the wind with these exiled High Elves, or are you still on the fence? Let us know in the comments!
