Monopoly Go's Monster Mash: KPop Demon Hunters & Ghostbusters

Ready to roll the dice with a spooky twist? Monopoly Go is going all out for Halloween with its Monster Mash season, and it's bringing some huge names along for the ride. From September 23 to November 25, you can dive into crossovers with KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters, plus a bunch of new features that'll keep you busy all season long.

First up, the KPop Demon Hunters crossover. You'll get to hang out with Huntr/X and the Saja Boys in themed minigames and immersive adventures. And yes, the music is part of the fun—Huntr/X's hits "Golden" and "How It's Done" will be playing in Monopoly Go during the event. You can also snag new items from the Blocks Boutique shop, including themed collectibles straight from the movie. Plus, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey will make appearances, so keep an eye out for them.

But that's not all—Ghostbusters are crashing the party too. You'll see Ghostbusters-themed vehicles rolling onto the board, along with familiar locations and characters from the films. And of course, the Proton Blaster is included. So if you've ever wanted to bust ghosts while playing Monopoly, now's your chance.

Beyond the crossovers, the Halloween update adds some cool new gameplay. There's the Luck-O-Lanter, which you can fill with sweet treats you find on the board. Then there's the new "dice duel" feature, where you roll dice against an opponent—higher number wins, and you get to trick or treat them. It's a fun twist on classic Monopoly mechanics.

What's more, the update celebrates Monopoly Go's Discord community. You'll be able to vote on community-made token designs, and the winning ones will actually appear in the game. Plus, player-created tokens can now be earned in the game, giving you a chance to show off your own designs.
