Atwell's comments echo that sentiment. She told the BBC's "The One Show" that she felt the cameo was a "complete disservice" to the character. She elaborated, saying that Peggy's appearance was a missed opportunity to explore the multiverse's potential and give the character a meaningful role. Instead, it felt like a glorified cameo that didn't do justice to her legacy.

Now, we get it. Multiverse movies are all about surprises and unexpected deaths. But when you have a character as iconic as Peggy Carter, you'd hope she'd get more than just a few minutes of screen time before being dispatched. Atwell's frustration is understandable, and it's a sentiment that many fans share.
