You've probably wondered how Stellar Blade holds up on Nintendo's new handheld versus the Steam Deck. Well, a fresh comparison video from the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits just dropped, and the results are pretty interesting.

According to the side-by-side footage, the Switch 2 version comes out on top in several key areas. It handles upscaling better, controls aliasing more effectively, and delivers cleaner edges overall. Texture details also look more stable on Nintendo's hardware.

Performance-wise, the Switch 2 version is no slouch either. The comparison suggests it outperforms the Steam Deck version, which is a nice surprise for anyone worried about how the game would run on the new system.

Of course, this isn't the whole story. Earlier reports had raised concerns about Stellar Blade's performance on Switch 2, particularly after the demo. That demo used a 30fps base with frame generation to interpolate up to 60fps, and some players reported noticeable input lag and visual noise as a result.

The developers were quick to respond, though. They announced that the full release will include a toggle for frame generation, letting you turn it on or off depending on whether you prefer smoother visuals or more responsive controls. That's a smart move that puts the choice in your hands.

So while the demo had its rough edges, the final version might just win you over—especially if you're planning to play on Switch 2. And if you're on Steam Deck, well, at least you've got options.

Stellar Blade is available on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Are you picking it up on Switch 2, or sticking with another platform? Let us know in the comments!
