Silent Hill Townfall: Solve the Vital Signs Puzzle

Stuck on that vital signs puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall? You know, the one with the doctor on the intercom demanding blood pressure, heart rate, and O2 readings while you're sweating over a bunch of machines that shock you if you pick wrong? Yeah, it's a pain. But don't worry, we've got you covered.

The key to this whole mess is the laptop in the corner. Head over to it and open the Equipment Overview menu. Look for the Valentudo View S-100 option. That's the instruction manual for the vital signs machine, and it'll give you the ranges you need to look for. For blood pressure, it says to 'disregard values outside of 70/100 mmHg'. Those are the green systolic and diastolic numbers on the left side of the display. So you want a machine showing something in that range. For me, it was 71/39, but it can alternate between 71/39 and 70/40. Just interact with the machine that fits.

Next up is the pulse. The doctor will ask for heart rate or pulse, and the laptop tells you that 'Heart Rate (BPM) values outside of 40 to 160 BPM are often inaccurate'. So you need a machine with a yellow pulse number that falls outside that range. I found one showing 161, though it changed to 162 when I reported it. Don't worry, just go with what you see.

Finally, the O2. The laptop says 'SpO2 (%) values under 75% are unreliable', so you need a machine with a red SpO2 number that fits that. I used one showing 81%, which changed to 80% when I reported it. Again, just pick the one that matches the criteria.

Once you've reported all three values, the next room opens up, and you can move on to the X-ray puzzle. That's a whole other beast, but it also involves reading instructions to figure out what to do. So keep that laptop handy.

And remember, every time you pick the wrong machine, you take damage. So don't just guess—read the manual and find the right numbers. It'll save you a lot of health and frustration.
