Amazon Prime October Games: FNAF Into the Pit, Doom 2016 & More

Ever feel like your backlog isn't scary enough? Amazon Prime is about to fix that this October with a batch of 10 free games that you can claim and keep forever. Yes, forever.

The headliners? Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit and Doom 2016. If you like your October spooky with a side of demon-slaying, you're covered. Into the Pit brings the creepy animatronic vibes, while Doom 2016 lets you rip and tear through Hell. Both are yours to keep if you're a Prime member.

How does it work? Amazon Prime subscribers can claim these games through Luna, Amazon's cloud gaming service. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep, even if you cancel Prime later. That's right, no take-backs. You just need to be a subscriber when you claim them.

Now, the full list of 10 games hasn't been revealed yet, but we know those two heavy hitters are leading the charge. October is the perfect time for horror and action, so expect more titles that fit the season. Last month's lineup had some solid picks, so Amazon is clearly keeping the momentum going.

If you're already a Prime member, this is basically free stuff. If you're not, it might be worth checking out what Prime offers beyond fast shipping and Prime Video. Luna is Amazon's way of letting you play games without a console or gaming PC, and these monthly freebies are a nice bonus.

So, will you be adding these to your collection? Or are you still trying to finish last month's games? Either way, October is looking stacked for Prime members. What do you think of the lineup so far? Will you be picking up Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit or Doom 2016? Let us know!
