Silent Hill Townfall: Blood Puzzle Solution Guide

Ever found yourself stuck in Silent Hill Townfall's 'different' Medical Center, surrounded by monsters and a blood puzzle that just won't budge? You're not alone. The blood puzzle is one of the toughest sections in the game, requiring stealth, exploration, and a bit of brainpower. But fear not—we've got the solution to get you through that Blood Transfusion Door and beyond.

First things first: you need to find five blood bags scattered around the Medical Center. Two of these are just to open other doors, but the remaining three are crucial for the final puzzle. This is a long, stealth-heavy section, so be prepared to run and hide a lot. Here's the order to do things: 1. Find the Alan Duncan blood bag to open the SW door. 2. Grab the Sarah Watson blood bag. 3. Pick up the Ward W Master key. 4. Use that key to open a door and take the ladder. 5. Get the Lesley Greer blood bag to open the DP door. 6. Drop down to find the George McEwan blood bag and the Ward P Master Key. 7. Interact with the Matthew Clark blood bag in a lift, causing it to drop. 8. Collect it, but beware—gates will close, so you'll need to turn two manual release wheels to escape. Once you have all the blood bags, head back to the Blood Transfusion Door.

Now, to open that door, you'll have George McEwen, Mathew Clark, and Sarah Watson left in your inventory. Each has a note about their condition that matches a patient note on the wall. Match them up: George McEwen goes in the 2nd/3rd slot, Mathew Clark (verbal, confused, obeys commands) in the next, and Sarah Watson (regular pulse and head wound) in the last. Place them correctly and hit the switch to open the door.

Inside, you'll find a large dial with sections you can rotate and plaques explaining blood type combinations. Check Simon's bracelet in your inventory—he's A+, which can receive O-, O+, A-, and A+. So you need to rotate the dial so only those blood types reach the center. Thomas Fergusson, Hannah McGregor, and Sarah Watson have either O or A types, so align the TF, HM, and SW lines to the center.
