Ready to pack your gear and head out on a whole new hunt? Monster Hunter Outlanders, the survival hunting action game built for mobile, finally has a release date — and it's sooner than you might think.
The game is set to launch on October 29, 2026. It's licensed and supervised by Capcom, developed by TiMi Studio Group, and published by Garena, so there's some serious muscle behind this one. To mark the announcement, Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Outlanders producer Huang Dong shared a special launch congratulatory video.
If you caught the Tokyo Game Show PV, you already got a taste of what's coming. The trailer introduced an original monster called the Light Prism Dragon, showing it emerging from the clouds with golden sharp wings to face off against adventurers. The footage also featured the adventurer Feiya fighting alongside her companion, new adventurer Oboro in action, and the protagonist taking on a Rathalos with a hammer in hand.
Outlanders mixes things up by blending multiple adventurers, area exploration, and building elements with the classic hunting experience fans know. And don't worry if you're new to the series — there are two control options: Classic Mode for veterans and Departure Mode designed specifically for newcomers. You can pick whichever suits your comfort level.
Hunting isn't the only thing on the menu either. You'll also use building features like Glide Challenges and Bellows Platforms to move between areas, adding a fresh layer of traversal to the usual monster-slaying loop.
