Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 Crossover Is Live: Throw Hands Now

Time to unleash your inner World Warrior. The Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 crossover event is officially live on all platforms, and it's packing way more than a few cosmetic skins.

This high-octane team-up smashes two of gaming's most intense competitive experiences onto one battlefield. You'll drop into a map inspired by Capcom's legendary universe, try out a brand-new "Street Fighter Form" combat mechanic, snag Street Fighter 6-themed cosmetics, and get your hands on a Mythic universal melee inspired by the Hadouken. If you somehow missed it, the official event trailer is out now.

Here's what you can dive into right away. Wildcard mode gets a Street Fighter 6-style remix of Olympus, where you'll destroy Apex K.O. trucks to earn Street Fighter Energy Tokens, step into the ring at Luke's Gym, and explore arcade cabinets, Blanka-chan balloons, and other themed decorations scattered across the map. You can also pick up Street Fighter gear and fight with the power of Street Fighter 6 characters by choosing from four different kits, each with its own passive, tactical, and signature ultimate abilities.

Once you've collected tokens and filled the Street Fighter Energy bar, you can unleash the power of the Street Fighter Form. Activating it flips combat into a third-person view and hands you new tactical and ultimate abilities, plus buffs to melee attacks, blocking, damage reduction, and movement speed. It's a whole different way to scrap.

Survive to the final round and you'll enter the Showdown, a decisive all-out brawl where every player enters Street Fighter Form and anyone who's downed or respawning gets thrown right back into the fight. It's chaos in the best possible way.

On the rewards side, you can channel the fighting spirit of Street Fighter 6 by grabbing the new Mythic universal melee, the Hadouken, which comes with a matching Death Box. Earn Z-Coins to unlock items in the Reward Shop, including an epic Lifeline x Lifeweaver skin, and jump into battle with eight new signature skins inspired by Street Fighter characters. There are also eight new legendary Street Fighter 6-themed weapon skins, plus two skydive emotes, holosprays, stickers, badges, trackers, and frames to round out your loadout.
