Control Resonant: All Clearance Keycard Locations

Ever found yourself staring at a locked door in Control Resonant, wishing you had the right keycard? You're not alone. Clearance levels gate off tons of areas, and some keycards are easy to miss. But don't worry—we've got the full rundown on every Clearance Keycard in the game and exactly how to get them.

First, a quick primer: there are five Clearance Keycards in Control Resonant, each opening different doors across various locations. Some come from main story quests, while others are tucked away in side missions. If you've already beaten the game, you can still go back and collect any you missed—those locked doors from the tutorial? You can finally see what's behind them.

Let's start with the Level 1 Keycard. You'll get this automatically during the "The West Incursion Zone Resonant" story quest, which kicks off after you speak to Zoe in the Watchtower for the first time. It's inside the Central Field Office, so you can't miss it.

Next up is the Level 2 Keycard. This one's handed to you by Arish in the Evacuation Zone Evac Building as part of the "Evacuation Procedures" main story quest. Again, it's part of the critical path, so just keep playing and you'll snag it.

The Level 6 Keycard is a bit more involved. After finishing the main story, talk to Zoe in the Watchtower to pick up the "New Growth" side quest. Follow it until you're told to "Investigate Underhill's Last Known Location." That'll point you to a research station in The Park, where the Level 6 Clearance Keycard is waiting.

Now for the Mobile Research Station Keycard. This one starts when you discover a body in a garage west of the Central Field Office. That triggers the "Crossing the Threshold" quest, which eventually leads you to the Central Dig Site Threshold. Once there, investigate the body in the marked yellow square to grab the keycard.

Lastly, the Oldest House Storage room Keycard (SR). You'll get this during "The Complete Set" side quest, which begins at the Museum of Curiosities in the West Incursion Zone. Follow the quest until Langston gives you the SR Keycard next to the Panopticon.

Oh, and about those Clearance Level 18 doors you might've spotted? Unfortunately, Dylan never gets a keycard for those. They're only opened by NPCs with their own clearance, and some never open at all. So don't waste time hunting for a Level 18 keycard—it doesn't exist.
