Control Resonant: All Instant Photo & Camera Locations Guide

Ever found yourself staring at an Instant Photo in Control Resonant, totally stumped on where it was taken? You're not alone. These photos are part of a sprawling side quest called Freeze Frame, and it'll keep you busy even after the credits roll.

Each zone hides two Instant Photos, and each one leads to a sneaky AWE Camera. But here's the twist: if you approach the camera from the front, it freezes you solid and vanishes. So you've got to pull off a stealth takedown—find a way behind it and close the lid. It's a puzzle within a puzzle.

There are 14 Instant Photos in total, spread across seven zones. Downtown, Central, Evacuation Zone, West Incursion Zone, The Park, Underpass, and Unknown each have two photos and two cameras. The photos themselves are scattered in clever spots—like on a table near the whiteboards inside the Oldest House entrance, or on the warehouse roof in Central. The cameras are even trickier: one's in an upside-down building in Dense Patterning, another on a gravity-anomaly wall in West Incursion Zone, and one inside a portable FBC office that needs a Power Core to open.

To solve each puzzle, you first study the photo to figure out where it was taken. Then you head to that spot to find the camera. But don't just walk up to it—scan the environment for a path that keeps you out of its line of sight. Sometimes you'll need to drop through a roof hatch, climb a window-cleaning platform, or sneak around behind a building. Once you're behind it, interact to close the Camera Lid and complete the puzzle.
