Cyberpunk 2077 2.5: How to Unlock the Clampdown Mission

Have you jumped back into Night City for Cyberpunk 2077's 2.5 update? If so, you might be wondering how to get your hands on the new Clampdown mission. This free quest ties into the second season of Edgerunners, and it's available to anyone who's downloaded the 2.5 patch. But you can't just jump straight in – there are a few hoops to jump through first. Here's the lowdown.

First things first: you need to have completed a few key story missions. Specifically, you'll need to finish "The Heist," "Love Like Fire," and "Playing for Time." Once those are done, you'll have full access to the open world of Cyberpunk 2077, which is essential for the next step.

Next, you'll need to complete any two gigs for the fixer Wakako Okada. You can find her in Westbrook's Japantown. After you've done a couple of jobs for her, you should eventually receive a message from Wakako titled "A Request from King."
