50+ New Xbox Games Drop Next Week, Including 3 Day One Game Pass Titles

Xbox players are eating well next week: over 50 games arrive September 21-25, headlined by Control Resonant, EA Sports FC 27, and Dune: Awakening — the latter launching day one on Game Pass.

Got room on your Xbox hard drive? You're going to need it. Over 50 games are landing on Xbox between September 21 and 25, and three of them are launching day one on Xbox Game Pass.

Let's start with the heavy hitters. Control Resonant, EA Sports FC 27, and Dune: Awakening are the big names headlining next week's lineup. Dune: Awakening is the one to watch if you're a Game Pass subscriber — it's joining the service at launch, so you won't pay a penny extra to dive into the sands of Arrakis.

That's not the only day-one Game Pass arrival, either. The roundup confirms three "day one" Xbox Game Pass launches in total across the week, which is a seriously strong showing for subscribers.

Beyond the blockbusters, there's plenty for indie fans to get excited about. Samson - A Tyndalston Story is on the way, and if you've been following the buzz, you'll know it attracted a ton of hype ahead of its PC launch earlier this year. Now console players finally get their turn.

The sheer volume here is the real story. Fifty-plus titles in a single week means something for basically every taste — big-budget action, sports sims, survival crafting, and a deep bench of smaller releases.

If you're on Game Pass, next week is basically a free buffet. If you're not, well, this might be the week you start doing the math on whether it's worth it.

So clear some space, check your wishlist, and maybe book a little time off. What are you picking up first next week?
