Leisure Suit Larry's Wet Dreams Games Are Leaving Steam Forever

Both Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice are being delisted from Steam on October 23, but you can grab them for under $2 each right now.

Leisure Suit Larry's Wet Dreams Games Are Leaving Steam Forever

Did you ever think you'd see the day when Leisure Suit Larry games were actually good? Well, if you haven't tried the Wet Dreams duo, now's your last chance—because they're about to vanish from Steam for good.

Publisher Assemble Entertainment has announced that both Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry (2018) and its sequel, Wet Dreams Dry Twice, will be removed from Steam on October 23. Before they go, they're on sale for 95% off, meaning you can snag each for less than $2. That's a steal for two games that, against all odds, turned out to be genuinely enjoyable.

If you missed them, the Wet Dreams games were a pleasant surprise. After the disastrous Magna Cum Laude and Box Office Bust, no one expected much from Larry's return. But Wet Dreams Don't Dry delivered a legitimately fun point-and-click adventure, and the sequel kept the momentum going. They're not revolutionary, but they're solid, self-aware, and manage to embarrass Larry more than they embarrass you.

This delisting is part of a larger purge. Back in 2025, the original Leisure Suit Larry games—including Magna Cum Laude Uncut and Uncensored, and classics like In the Land of the Lounge Lizards, Looking For Love, and Love for Sail—were all removed from sale. (Leisure Suit Larry 4 escaped because it never existed.) Now the Wet Dreams duo is following suit, effectively closing the book on Larry's digital availability.

So why is this happening? Assemble hasn't said. Expiring licensing rights are the usual suspect—Larry originated at Sierra, and Assemble likely licensed the property from Activision for these two games. Given that Wet Dreams Don't Dry was announced in 2018, we're nearing the 10-year mark on that deal, which could be the expiration date. But that's just speculation; all we know for sure is that the games are going away.

The delisting announcement only mentions Steam, but it's safe to assume the games will also disappear from GOG, where they're currently on sale too. So if you've been curious about Larry's modern adventures, don't wait. Grab them while they're wet—er, while you can.

What do you think? Will you be picking up the Wet Dreams games before they're gone, or are you okay letting Larry take his final bow?
