Fortnite Festival Guitar Controllers Get Prime Day Discounts

Ever dreamed of shredding on a plastic guitar again? If you grew up on Rock Band or Guitar Hero, you know the feeling. Well, Fortnite Festival is keeping that dream alive, and right now you can grab a proper guitar controller for less.

Thanks to Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, both the PDP Riffmaster and CRKD's Gibson Les Paul controllers are discounted. Most of these deals are exclusive to Prime members, so you'll need a subscription to snag them. But if you're serious about rocking out, it's worth it.

Let's talk about the PDP Riffmaster first. It's the classic choice, with dedicated models for Xbox, Switch 2, and PS5. All console variants are 40% off, bringing the price down to $89.99. That's just $10 shy of its lowest price ever. IGN reviewed it and called it a "terrific bit of kit with excellent button feel, extremely impressive battery life, and some very sensible quality-of-life tweaks." It's a close match for the original Rock Band Stratocaster, though with a quieter strum bar. Plus, the collapsible neck makes it easy to take on the road.

If you want more customization, CRKD's Gibson Les Paul controllers are also on sale, with discounts up to 30% off across PS5, Xbox, and multiplatform variants. They offer extra tweaks through the CRKD app and an optional lower latency wired connection, which is ideal for Clone Hero fanatics. And you get more color options, too.

Now, if you're new to Fortnite Festival, here's the deal: it's not just a carbon copy of the old games. You get online multiplayer with a massive player base, and the song list is always changing. Each season brings its own mix of free songs, and you can buy songs to keep permanently. Yes, there are microtransactions, and the mode even has its own Battle Pass. The current season is headlined by Lil Tecca, with past seasons featuring Hatsune Miku, Metallica, and Chappell Roan.

Sure, you can play Fortnite Festival with a mouse and keyboard, but where's the fun in that? Shredding on a controller that feels like a real instrument is way more immersive. The main downside has always been the cost, which makes these Prime deals particularly welcome.

If you're just looking for the best possible deal, the PDP Riffmaster is your safest bet. But if you want more features and color options, CRKD has you covered. Either way, you'll be ready to rock.
