Where Winds Meet Weapon Tier List: Best Martial Arts Ranked

Wondering which weapon to master first in Where Winds Meet? With 12 martial arts to pick from, each with unique moves and upgrade paths, your choice can make your journey a breeze or a grind. This tier list ranks all weapons by overall strength for PvE, so you know where to invest your time.

S Tier: The Best of the Best

Heavenquake Spear (Bellstrike - Umbra) โ€“ A melee weapon that excels at stacking Bleed and dealing sustained AoE and single-target damage. It's a top DPS pick for end-game and works well early on. Pair it with the Strategic Sword for maximum Bleed synergy. Strengths: boss DPS, AoE, low difficulty. Weaknesses: support, survivability.

Strategic Sword (Bellstrike - Umbra) โ€“ Similar to the Heavenquake Spear but with less AoE and more mobility. It's the best single-target boss DPS weapon in the game. Combo it with the Heavenquake Spear to proc Bleed. Strengths: boss DPS, mobility, low difficulty. Weaknesses: support, survivability.

Stormbreaker Spear (Stonesplit - Might) โ€“ A tank weapon with wide-range taunts and CC, making it excellent for end-game PvE. It offers fewer shields than the Thundercry Blade but shines in group content. Strengths: control, survivability, AoE, low difficulty. Weaknesses: mobility, boss DPS.

Infernal Twinblades (Bamboocut - Wind) โ€“ The hardest weapon to master, but also the most rewarding. It brings AoE, a transformation buff, single-target DPS, and mobility. Great for all content if you can handle the skill floor. Strengths: mobility, boss DPS, AoE. Weaknesses: difficulty, survivability.

Panacea Fan (Skillbind - Deluge) โ€“ The ultimate support weapon, focused on healing and sustaining your party. It can even revive downed players, which no other weapon can do. However, its DPS is extremely low, so it's terrible for solo play. Strengths: healing, support, survivability, low difficulty. Weaknesses: DPS, mobility.

A Tier: Strong and Reliable

Thundercry Blade (Stonesplit - Might) โ€“ The other tank weapon, offering shields, CC, and more damage than the Stormbreaker Spear. It's better for story progression but weaker in end-game boss fights. Strengths: survivability, control, AoE, low difficulty. Weaknesses: mobility, boss DPS.

Vernal Umbrella (Skillbind - Jade) โ€“ A ranged weapon with good DPS, AoE, and CC. It's one of the best early-game choices and still holds up at end-game, though it can't match the top-tier Bellstrike - Umbra weapons. Strengths: control, AoE, mobility, boss DPS, low difficulty. Weaknesses: survivability.

Nameless Spear (Bellstrike - Splendor) โ€“ Specializes in AoE damage, Endurance restoration, and CC. It's a fantastic story progression weapon with lots of utility, but its single-target DPS lags behind. Strengths: AoE, control, utility, low difficulty. Weaknesses: survivability, boss DPS.

Soulshade Umbrella (Skillbind - Deluge) โ€“ A support weapon that heals and buffs allies. It deals more damage than the Panacea Fan but heals less, making it better for solo grinding. Strengths: healing, support, survivability, low difficulty. Weaknesses: mobility.

B Tier: Situational or Challenging

Nameless Sword (Bellstrike - Splendor) โ€“ A melee weapon with Qi Shields, mobility, and single-target DPS. It pairs with the Nameless Spear to proc arsenal effects. It's not as powerful as the Strategic Sword for bosses but shines in the early game. Strengths: boss damage, mobility, utility, low difficulty. Weaknesses: survivability, AoE.

Inkwell Fan (Skillbind - Jade) โ€“ A ranged DPS weapon with strong CC, AoE, and mobility. It's one of the most beginner-friendly weapons, offering a safe playstyle. However, it lacks single-target DPS, so it's best for story content. Strengths: control, AoE, mobility, low difficulty. Weaknesses: survivability, boss DPS.

Mortal Rope (Bamboocut - Wind) โ€“ A melee weapon that focuses on quick single-target attacks, mobility, and boss DPS. It's very difficult to master but rewarding. Compared to Bellstrike - Umbra weapons, it requires much more skill to use effectively. Strengths: mobility, boss DPS, control. Weaknesses: difficulty, survivability, AoE.

Remember, every weapon is viable in Where Winds Meet, and you'll eventually want most of them maxed for end-game. Also, make sure to pair weapons from the same arsenal (like Bellstrike - Umbra) to trigger their bonus effects. Did this tier list help you decide? Let us know which weapon you're maining!
