Optimize your Silkbind Jade build with this guide covering stats, gear, and skills for PvE speedrunning and PvP dominance in Where Winds Meet.

Silkbind Jade Build Guide: Master the Umbrella in Where Winds Meet

Ever feel like your Silkbind Jade isn't hitting as hard as it should? Whether you're trying to shave seconds off your speedrun or dominate in PvP, getting the right stats and gear is crucial. Let's break down the perfect build for both scenarios.

First, let's talk stats. For a balanced approach, you'll want to aim for around 73% Critical Rate (or 80% if you're using the Rainwhisper set). Your Max Physical should be between 2500 and 2700, with Min Physical around 1000โ€“1100. You'll also want 100% Precision Rate and 225 Agility (at level 95). Affinity should be 17โ€“20% if you're using Hawking.

When it comes to stat priorities, start with Max Physical Attack, then Agility (until you hit the threshold), Critical Rate (until threshold), Precision Rate (until threshold), and Power. If you're using the Hawking set, add Momentum until you reach the affinity threshold. After that, boost Min Physical Attack and Min Attribute of Other Class. Finish off with Max Silkbind.

Now for gear. Your weapon set should focus on Physical Penetration, and your armor set should boost Vernal Umbrella Special Skill Damage. The Art of Umbrella damage boost is ideal for speedrunning, with one roll being good, but two rolls are better. For speedrunning, also look for All Martial Arts Boost % and Boost vs. Boss Units (two rolls ideal). For PvP or GvG, prioritize Boost vs. Player Units.

Let's talk skills. In PvP/GvG, using an Execution Skill restores 30 Vitality and HP equal to 20% of damage dealt โ€“ great for sustain. After breaking a target's defense with a Defense Break Skill, increase the damage they take by 12% for 5 seconds. Also, when your Martial Arts Skill: Cast Away Spring's Grief immobilizes a target, increase the duration by 0.6s (or 1.0s if they have Tenacity).

For PvP, when your Verdant Brushstroke - Light Attack Charged Skill hits a unit below 30% Qi, you gain Windrider, which lets you cast an enhanced Airborne Combo. And when your Vernal Umbrella - Light Attack Charge Skill hits a non-defending unit, deal 1 bonus Qi damage and apply a stack of Spring Spirit. At 18 stacks, the target is Immobilized for 0.6s โ€“ this is optional but great for 5v5.

Defensively, when you remove a stagger or control effect with a Control-Removing Skill, you gain Tenacity for 2s (or 2.8s) after Super Armor wears off. Reduce damage taken by 20% (or 28%) when staggered. And after dodging an enemy attack, recover 6% (or 8%) of your Max HP.

So, whether you're min-maxing for speedruns or gearing up for PvP, these tips should give you an edge. Did this build work for you? Let me know in the comments!
