Sinking City 2 Church Obelisk Puzzle: Full Solution Guide

Ever found yourself staring at a mysterious Obelisk in The Sinking City 2, wondering what to do? You're not alone. The church Obelisk puzzle can be tricky, but solving it is totally worth it for the sweet rewards. Let's walk through it together.

First, you need to grab two key notes. The first, 'Call Upon Believers', is inside the church. Head to the altar, and you'll find it there. Your character might even comment about who they worshipped. The second note, 'First Vision', is in the graveyard. You'll need to open the Star Lock to get it, which also gives you an ERC Crate for an inventory upgrade and Printing Plate C.

The notes are your keys: 'Call Upon Believers' lists gods from the depths to the heights, and 'First Vision' explains their symbols. Before you head to the Obelisk, go back to the church and use the Star Key to open the door above the ladder. Inside, you'll find the Trident and a 'Report on the Bell' note.

Now, insert the Trident into the Obelisk. You'll need to rotate the symbols in order from bottom to top, matching the gods to their symbols: - Cthylla: Splayed Womb - Gyrh: Spearhead - Tsog-Nar: Crooked Cross - Yig: Serpent Form

When you get it right, lightning will start striking every few seconds. After three strikes, the Trident will be fully lit. Grab it and head back to the room where you found it. Place the Trident back on its stand, and you'll be transported to another dimension.

In this new area, walk toward the altar, picking up a dagger along the way. Place the dagger in the altar slot, and a small boss fight will trigger in the basement. Defeat the boss, and you'll find two pieces of Dream Essence waiting for you on the altar.
